Project Assistant 

Overview of the role

To work closely with project managers to create effective proposals and support operational teams through all stages of an event.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and understand client requests for proposal (RFP)
  • Liaise with suppliers to establish availability and rates
  • Create effective proposals within budget ensuring timelines are met
  • Continue to liaise with clients following the initial proposal stage, supplying them with any supplementary information requested up to either release or confirmation stage of the project. 
  • Ensure initial stage actions have been completed before handing over event file to the project manager 
  • Continue to support project managers as required throughout the event development, delivery and reconciliation stages 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Greek 
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills 
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships
  • Demonstrates emotional maturity through self-awareness when collaborating with team members, suppliers and clients 
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Supportive team member with ability to work independently 
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Attention to detail

Education and experience:

Previous experience working in a similar role within events, hospitality and or travel would be advantageous
